UPDATE: House League Practice Schedule
All House League programing is scheduled to resume play starting tomorrow Monday, November 30th. With tighter COVID-related restrictions in place, it has become necessary for VYHA to re-think the delivery of hockey programs with significant numbers of participants.
With the decision by Virginia’s Governor to return to Phase Two COVID restrictions, VYHA and the Lancerlot partnered together to announce a pause in the House League programs starting Monday, November 16 and resuming on Monday, November 30, 2020.
VYHA programs with large groups of participants include Learn to Play, 8U House League and Lower House League practices (10U and 12U age groups). Practice schedules will continue through the month of March as detailed below.

Current Lancerlot COVID Policies will remain in place:
- NO Spectators will be allowed!
Exception: ONE Parent per child will be allowed into the rink during their child's ice session at the 10U / Lower House League level and below. Parents at these levels will be allowed to stay in the building. However, the number of specators cannot exceed the 25 person limit, and MUST adhere to the new 10 foot social distancing policy!
- ALL persons ages 5+ must wear masks when entering LSC.
-All Coaches must wear masks at all times.
-Referees may wear masks on ice at their own discretion.
- Locker Rooms:
-Temporary locker rooms will still be availble for use as needed. However, players are highly encouraged to come dressed for to the rink.
-Permanent locker rooms will only be available for Female players, Goalies, and Referees.
-Masks must be worn while in the designated rooms and social distancing must be respected at all times.
None of this is going to be perfect. However, the changes that VYHA and the Lancerlot have put in place will allow us to continue to play hockey! Thank you for your cooperation with this matter. Stay safe out there!
